Just Got Back From Rapidly Acquiring A Classic Mustang
I really haven’t much had any time to speak on the web site nearly as much as I might like, on account of all the time I have been running around town with Dad fuel his wet & wild midlife crisis. Well, you might think it isn’t as far out as it could be. The thing is, how he did it was he dressed up like he was Fonzie or something, and drop by to my crib and tell me, in his jazziest dialect: “Come on in, boy, we’re going looking for some classic Mustang sales. No joke, my boy, I’m finally going to get myself a real cruiser.”
So next the two of us went out to all of those wild vintage car showrooms that you’re just about sure are mob-run, and I stare in wonder my crazy padre made out a check right there on the spot, for a very sparkly classic car. It really is an intense item. It sounded really nice too.
Notice that I said that in a past tense. It sounded really nice right until it totally broke down. Dad tells me that it is just a quick thing to fix and he just needs the right part. Only thing is, it is not as easy to find 1967 Mustang parts as it was about 30 years ago, but he informs me there is a pretty big market for them regardless. It seems like the best place to find parts for classic Ford Mustangs is through internet auctions, since you can get them all refurbished and occasionally as good as new. They might not be available for a nominal fee, though… Get real, we’re talking about 30-year-old automobile parts.
Not the worst midlife crisis ever, I guess. Imagine if he would’ve decided to buy a mail-order bride.
